About Me
Hi, I’m Keera, the artist behind Threaded Oaks.
I’m from Akwesasne, and my work is shaped by where I come from. I create handmade beaded jewelry inspired by nature, culture, and personal expression, using colors and designs that reflect what feels familiar and meaningful to me.
Each pair I make is handmade and one of a kind. I put a lot of time, patience, and energy into every piece. I pay close attention to details like color balance, structure, and finish so that no two designs are ever exactly the same. I don’t rush my process. Each piece is meant to feel thoughtful, complete, and intentional.
I first started beading with something very personal in mind, to make jewelry for my little sister to wear when she graduates. That idea pushed me to learn, practice, and take my time with the craft. What began as something just for her naturally grew into Threaded Oaks, where I now create for others while still holding onto that same care and meaning behind every piece.
Whether it's something bold or something simple, I hope my work feels personal and meaningful to the person wearing it.
